HIGHEST
PEAK OF THE WORLD: MOUNT EVEREST
Do you
know about the highest mountain of the world? Do you know where it is and in
which country it is?
Well it’s
Mount Everest also known as Sagarmatha and also as Third pole of the world. It
lies in Himalaya’s range of Nepal which is also international border between
two beautiful country Nepal and china.
The
height of Mount Everest is 8848m (29029 ft.). The official name Everest was
given in 1865 by Royal Geographical society. It is one of the most beautiful places
in world and attracts many climbers from different countries and mountaineers
have successfully climbed to the summit of the peak.
If you are
interested to visit or reach to the peak you must have knowledge about its
route, geography and knowledge. There are two main routes for climbing one from
the southeast which is standard route and another from the northern side from
Tibet. Before climbing to summit, you will find different challenges from
standard route like altitude sickness, icefall, weather and wind.
On 1953 two climber Tenzing Norgay and Edmund
Hillary made official ascent of Mount Everest.
We can find very few native fauna or flora on
Everest. Moss, the highest altitude plants of world found on height of 6480m. Yak can be found on High Mountain. The
temperature measured on this area is about -17 degree Celsius, humidity of
41.3%, atmospheric pressure of 382.1hPa whereas wind speed is 12.8 m/s.
Major issue found during climbing is wind
speed, high altitude sickness. The peak of the mountain extents up to
stratosphere.
Many
climbers have successfully climbed to peak till today. May decade before it was
only a dream to reach to the peak. Still now it is many dream of climber to
reach to the top. Many climbers had fall down during climbing due to fatal
disaster. So before climbing to the mountain u most have knowledge of weather,
route as well as guide.
