1.   There are only 14 mountains in worlds which are higher than 8000 m.  Out of them 8 mountain are in Nepal. The world highest mountain also is in Nepal which is also known as Mount Everest.  So don’t miss to visit the Himalayan range of Nepal and enjoy beautiful shining mountains.
§  Mount Everest:  It is the world highest mountain found in Nepal and its height is 8848 m. it is in border of Nepal and china. §  Kanchenjunga: it is world third highest mountain and 2nd highest of Nepal with height of 8586 m. It is in Taplejung district and in border between Nepal and Sikkim. Many climber has successfully climbed this mountain and it is also one of the interesting thing of Nepal.




§  Lhotse: It is found in the border of Tibet of china and Khumbu region of Nepal. It is 8516 m high and it attracts many tourists from different nation with its beauty.


§  Makalu: located in border of Nepal and china with height of 8485m. It is an isolated peak with four sided pyramid. It was 1st climbed on 1954 and 1st summited on 1955. It is one of the hardest mountains to climb. Barun valley is very famous area of Makalu Mountain. Makalu Barun valley is Himalayan glacier valley at the base of this beautiful mountain.




§  Cho Oyu: it is 6th highest mountain in the world with height of 8188m above sea level. This mountain is in between Nepal and china in the westernmost region of khumbu. On 2011 a Dutch climber died during its summit but it is very beautiful to visit and enjoy travel.



§  Dhaulagiri 1: The height of this mountain is 8167 m and which is also the origin place of beautiful river Kaligandaki River, Bheri River. It was 1st climbed on 1960. It is one of center of attraction for tourist and their favorite destination for trekking.




§  Manaslu: the 8th highest mountain in the world with height of 8163m located in Gorkha district. There are various trekking place on this mountain region. So many tourists attracted toward this place. It was permitted on 1991 for trekking. Mountain snow leopard, red panda, lynx, Himalayan musk deer, blue ship are found in this region which are endangered species of the world.




§   Annapurna: it is 10th highest mountain in the world with height of 8091m from the sea level. It was the 1st 8000m mountain that was climbed. It is the most dangerous mountain to climb in the world after Kanchenjunga. Ganga River located in Varanasi also considered as most Religious River for Hindus. Annapurna conservation area is famous for trekking.




2.   Tilicho Lake: it is located on Manang district of Nepal about 55 km from Pokhara. It is situated at height of 4949m.  It is world highest lake where no any aquatic organisms are found. This lake is found on Annapurna Himalayan range of Nepal and best place for hiking. It is one of the most beautiful destinations for international and domestic tourists. Most of tourists spend time on this place. There are no lodges or home stay on this area so many tourists spend on camp. So this place most be visited on group for safety.





3.   One horned Rhinos: Have you ever seen one horned rhinos or even have you hear about it? Yes one horned rhinos are one of the most endangered species of world which are only found on India and Nepal. These rhinos are being killed of its skin and horn.
 These rhinos are 2nd biggest species of rhinos with length of about 20cm and weight of 3kg.




4.   Have you ever noticed the flag of Nepal? Well flag of Nepal is of two triangles. All countries of world have flag of quadrilateral. The triangle of national flag represents Hindus and Buddhist which are two major religion of Nepal. They also represent the mountains as Nepal is country of Himalayas.



5.   Have you listen or seen snow man? You might have seen in different movies. Himalayan snowman known as yeti are believed to found in high mountain of Nepal.


6.   Do you about living goddess? Yes, living goddess known as kumari are found in Nepal and they are worshipped
7.   The hydropower capacity of Nepal water resource is about 8400 mw but only 1615 mw is installed in country.
8.   Nepal is also known as land of brave Gorkha as people showed their great brave in world war as well as with East Indian Company during colonization. They show their bravery with naked weapon called Khukuri. So still the story of brave Gorkhali is said in the world.
9.   29% of land is covered by forest out of total land. “Green forest is wealth of Nepal. “is famous saying in Nepal.
10. Nepal is also known as country of goddess and we can find many temples of goddess in every part of nation.
11.The most dangerous airport in the world is located in Nepal.
